Circle diameters represent divergence (F ST) between individuals within a passage. Lines connecting circle centers represent between-passage divergence and were measured using combined replicates. F ST from replicate means at p5 among crows (2 × 10–4), sparrows (4 × 10–4) and robins (6 × 10–4) were significantly different (P = 0.0500). F ST was similar after a single passage in wild birds and chickens (~2 × 10–4) and significantly different from F ST after a single mosquito passage (2 × 10–3, P = 0.0174, Kruskal-Wallis test).
