Kaempferol supplementation completely prevented the HF diet-induced decreases in AMPKα and Glut4 protein expression in skeletal muscle and adipose tissues of obese mice. At the end of feeding experiment, AMPK and Glut4 protein levels in whole cell lysates of skeletal muscle ((a)–(c)) and adipose tissue ((d)–(f)) of mice were measured by immunoblotting and normalized to β-actin content.
