Error estimation for coefficients of Table 1 is performed as described in Methods. Error for Gu,∞/RT and nu,∞ is the smallest and does not exceed 2%. Error for g and γ is between 3 and 5%. Short oligomer coefficients have larger error: 2 to 6% for linear coefficients Gu,0/RT and nu,0, and 10% for quadratic coefficients and .
Since short oligo coefficients are expected to be independent on DNA type, the average number is assumed to apply to ss and ds oligomer
