C57BL/6 mice were injected s.c. with 0.5 ml of Matrigel containing HRP-3 (2 μg/ml), VEGF (250 ng/ml) or PBS around the flank areas. After 7 days, the mice were euthanized, and the Matrigel plugs were excised and photographed. (A) Representative images of Matrigel plugs.
