Interaction Between Ethnicity and Cohesion Predicting Physical Aggression in Adolescence

Notes. Family cohesion is more strongly negatively related to physical aggression for Hispanic adolescents (B = −0.11, p < .001), when compared to African American adolescents (B = −0.04, p < .01). Cohesion is measured at W-1 using combined parental and adolescent-report on the Family Relationships Scale (FRS; Tolan et al., 1997). Aggression is measured at W-6 using adolescent-report on the Problem Behavior Frequency Scale (PBFS; Farrell et al., 2000).
