Injection of CrPV-2 and CrPV-3 virions into adult Drosophila melanogaster flies. Virgin Iso w1118 flies (10 males and 10 females) were injected intrathoracically with 5,000 FFU of CrPV, CrPV-2, CrPV-3, or UV-inactivated CrPV-2 and CrPV-3 or with PBS. Subsequently, flies were flipped onto standard medium, and survival was monitored daily.
