NPY was expressed in Fluorogold labelled mental nerve cell bodies after CCI. Fluorogold (FG), in blue, was used to retrogradely label the cell bodies of mental nerve sensory neurons. NPY immunoreactivity is shown in green. Signals are shown separately in small panels, and together in the adjacent larger panel. Colocalization of the two signals is shown in turquoise.
