Generation of FXa and thrombin on preformed thrombi. Blood from wild-type mice was pre-incubated with (A) thrombin substrate peptide Z-GGR-AMC or (B) FXa substrate peptide Pefafluor, and perfused over collagen at a shear rate of 1000 s⁻¹, as in Figure 1. After 4 min of thrombus formation, a time-series of microscopic fluorescence images was taken under stasis.
