Models are adjusted for maternal age, education level, history of asthma, body mass index, parity, smoking during pregnancy, anxiety, and the child's sex, gestational age, breast-feeding duration, and previous height or weight gain. Models of weight were additionally adjusted for preceding height and weight growth trajectories, and models of height were additionally adjusted for preceding height growth trajectories and birth weight. Also, models were additionally adjusted for previous current asthma.
