NX1β activates Rac1. Cortical neurons were grown for 8 days and subsequently treated with different concentrations of recombinant NX1β for 20 min, and the level of active Rac1 (Rac1-GTP) was analyzed using immunoblotting. The results from n = 4 experiments are expressed as a percentage ± SEM. ∗ P < 0.05, compared with the untreated control set at 100%.
