The lysosomal protein LAPTM4b recruits LAT1-4F2hc (the Leu transporter) to the lysosome, promoting entry of Leu and other EAA into the lysosome, stimulating activation of V-ATPase and hence mTORC1 activation (via the Ragulator, RagA/B-GTP and Rheb-GTP).
