4 February 2015	New search has been performed	Search updated to 5 January 2015. We simplified the text. We corrected data extraction errors in one study and corrected the results and 'Summary of findings' table. We adjusted the wording around "evidence of no effect". We took into account comments and criticisms received. These criticisms were also published in the Malaria Journal in 2014, so this revision corrects the minor data extraction errors pointed out in this article. The conclusions are not changed.
