Production of TSG-6 from mesangial cells (MCs) by transwell coculture of DFAT cells. MCs from stroke-prone spontaneously hypertensive rats (SHR-SP) were plated at 4,000 cells per cm² in the bottom well of a six-well transwell coculture system. DFAT cells from Wistar rats were separately plated at 1,000 cells per cm² on the upper inserts of a transwell coculture system and cultured for seven days.
