In the umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cells (UCMSCs)-treated group, the DAI score was significantly downregulated on days 4, 6 and 7 of treatment. (B) Colon length. UCMSCs in dextran sulfate sodium (DSS)-treated mice were able to reduce the degree of DSS-induced colon shortening compared with the DSS + phosphate-buffered saline group.
