In strong Metropolitan Influenced Zone (MIZ) communities, 30% or more of the workforce commutes for work to a census metropolitan area (CMA) (≥100,000 population) or to a census agglomeration (CA) (≥10,000); moderate MIZ communities, 5% to 29% of the workforce commutes to a CMA/CA; weak MIZ, <5% commute to a CMA/CA; and no MIZ, none of the workforce commutes to a CMA/CA.34
