Two genes (TaER1 and TaER2) are encoded by each of the three genomes A, B and D (short arm of chromosome 7 for TaER1 and long arm of chromosome 6 for TaER2). Six copies of cDNA sequences of TaER were aligned, and phylogenetic links were obtained based on their homology. Numbers relate to the phylogenetic distance between each of the TaER gene copies.
