Inclusion and exclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria

Patients provided written informed consent

20 years of age and older

Symptomatic cartilage single lesions of the femoral condyles

ICRS Grades 3 (cartilage defects extending down > 50% of cartilage depth) and 4 (bone defect)

Exclusion criteria

Less than 6 months with symptoms

Patellofemoral cartilage lesion

Microfracture performed

Pregnant female

Infectious diseases

Malignancy

Rheumatoid arthritis

Diabetes

Poor general health condition
