Cell deficient in XRCC1 (82) were transfected with GFP-XRCC1 or GFP-XRCC1 R399Q and sensitized with 10 μM BrdU for 24 h. Cells were irradiated with a 365 nm laser at 0.17 μJ/pixel. A single experiment is presented, though the recruitment trend observed and the images presented are representative of many experiments [43].
