Protein release via diffusion from PEG–PQ and PEG–PQ(alloc) hydrogels. (a) For each protein, the hydrodynamic radius and diffusivity in water (DW) were calculated from their molecular weight. (b) The release profiles for all proteins were fitted to estimate their diffusivity for PEG–PQ and PEG–PQ(alloc) hydrogels (DH). No significant difference was observed for any of the proteins measured (p > 0.05).
