Antibodies raised against the C-terminal half of domain CR9 counteract the down-regulatory effect of AgLDL on the migration of human VSMCs. hVSMCs were preincubated with anti-P3 Abs (at 7.5 relative concentration) for 2 h and then exposed to AgLDL for a further 18 h. Phase-contrast microscopy images show the migratory capacity of hVSMCs exposed or not to AgLDL, treated with anti-BSA or anti-P3 Abs.
