The combination of anti-P1, anti-P2, and anti-P3 antibodies failed to inhibit AgLDL-derived intracellular CE accumulation in human VSMCs. hVSMCs were preincubated with rabbit polyclonal Abs (at 7.5 relative concentration) raised against P1–P3 peptides alone or in combination for 2 h and then exposed to AgLDL for a further 18 h. Cells were then collected and submitted to lipid extraction.
