Effects of MBP-induced activation and polarization of RAW264.7 cells via TLR2 and TLR4. RAW264.7 cells were pre-incubated with anti-TLR2 or anti-TLR4 (20 μg/mL) antibody for 2 h prior to the addition of MBP or LPS (5 μg/mL) for 48 h. Mouse IgG2a (20 µg/mL) was used as isotype control. (A) MBP-induced NO production in RAW264.7 cells was partially inhibited by either anti-TLR2 or anti-TLR4; (B) MBP-induced M1 polarization of RAW264.7 cells was greatly inhibited by either anti-TLR2 or anti-TLR4.
