NEUROSCIENCE Correction for “Ikaros promotes early-born neuronal fates in the cerebral cortex,” by Jessica M. Alsiö, Basile Tarchini, Michel Cayouette, and Frederick J. Livesey, which appeared in issue 8, February 19, 2013, of Proc Natl Acad Sci USA (110:E716–E725; first published February 4, 2013; 10.1073/pnas.1215707110).
The authors note that Fig. 6 appeared incorrectly. Specifically, the panels in Fig. 6A and 6E representing lateral and medial cerebral cortex, respectively, in the P0 (neonatal) D6-Ikaros transgenic mouse (D6-Ik) are overlapping images of the same region of a tissue section. The authors note that the wrong panel was introduced during preparation of a revised manuscript. The corrected figure and its legend appear below.
