pp71 induces the degradation of NICD1 and Jag1 via the proteasome in NPCs. NPCs were seeded at a density of 5 × 106 cells/dish. pCDH-GFP, pCDH-flag-UL26, pCDH-pp65, or pCDH-pp71 was transfected by nucleofection into NPCs that express Notch1/NICD1 and Jag1 endogenously.
