EE2-induced cholestasis represses HNF4α transactivation of CYP2D6 promoter. Tg-CYP2D6 mice were injected subcuaneously with EE2 (10 mg/kg) or vehicle (olive oil) daily for 5 days (n = 5 mice/group). Recruitment of HNF4α, SHP, and RNA Pol II to (A) CYP2D6 promoter and (B) Cyp8b1 promoter was analyzed by ChIP assay using the mouse liver tissues.
