Results of pair-wise, post hoc analysis of the five DTI acceleration schemes from Tables 1 and 2. Asterisks denote a significant difference between the pairs, which was determined by P <0.005 for each post hoc comparison by Bonferroni criterion. MB = model-based, CS = compressed sensing, AS = asymmetrical sampling, LR = low resolution and FD = fewer directions. The model based approach was shown to be statistically different than the other four acceleration approaches.
