Bmp2 expression in ameloblasts during enamel formation. b and f. In situ hybridization of mouse tooth development at PN1 and PN5 with Bmp2 antisense probe. Bmp2 expression was observed in ameloblasts as well as in dental pulp, odontoblasts and osteoblasts. Hematoxylin staining is shown in a and e. Bmp2 protein expression in PN1 and PN5 mice was detected within the nucleus and cytoplasm in ameloblasts, odontoblasts and osteoblasts using immunohistochemistry (d and h).
