Percent of ovulation rate in animals treated with vehicle or capsaicin at birth and subjected to SON sectioning. Animals were treated with vehicle or capsaicin at birth. At 20 or 28 days of age, the animals were subjected to a sham-operation (SO) or were subjected to left (L), right (R) or bilateral (B) SSON. All animals were sacrificed at the first vaginal estrus.
