The recovery of IBAV from core transcripts. BHK21A11 cells were transfected with 0.5 μg of IBAV-2 core transcripts either in absence (0 seg) or presence (6 seg) of the first-transfection with six expression plasmids, VP1, VP3, VP4, VP6, VP7 and NS2. As a control (CTRL), BHK21A11 cells were infected with IBAV-2 at MOI of 0.01. The recovery of virus was shown as the amount of infectious virus (PFU/ml) in culture media of transfected cells at 24 h after the second-transfection (RG) or infection (CTRL) (Mean ± SD). The p-value was calculated using Student’s t-distribution.
