Local sensitivity analysis to identify determinants of IC₅₀ for gefitinib and cetuximab. (a and b) Sensitivity of IC₅₀ values to perturbations of 10-fold in each of the model parameters was computed for (a) gefitinib or (b) cetuximab. Sensitivities were reported as the absolute value of the difference in the logarithm of the base IC₅₀ and the perturbed IC₅₀ values and then normalized to the maximum. This analysis was performed for 1.6 nmol/l epidermal growth factor (EGF), 1.6 nmol/l amphiregulin (AR), and 160 nmol/l AR.
