Liver hepcidin mRNA expression and serum hepcidin levels in female SD rats treated with multiple doses of h5F9-AM8. Liver hepcidin expression (a) and serum hepcidin level (b) showed dose-dependent decreases of hepcidin at doses higher than 0.2 mg/kg/week and no differences between vehicle and 0.02 mg/kg. Statistical analysis shows significant effect (*p < 0.05, **p < 0.01, and ***p < 0.001) from one-way ANOVA conducting Dunnett’s post-hoc test with 0 mg/kg/week group (vehicle) as baseline.
