BV-2 microglial cells pretreated with 500 μM NaB for 6 h were stimulated with 1 μg/ml LPS (A), 1 μM fibrillar Aβ1–42 (B) or 1 μM MPP+ (C) for 15 min followed by monitoring the generation ROS using carboxy-H2DCFDA. Sodium formate (NaFO) was used as a negative control of NaB. D) Under similar treatment conditions, levels of superoxide were measured in cells.
