PfMSP7 can block the interaction between P-selectin and its glycan ligand Sialyl-LewisX. P-selectin bait was immobilized and pre-incubated with the indicated concentrations of the PfMSP7 pentamer before addition of an avid alkaline-phosphatase-conjugated SLeX binding reagent.
