Model 1 includes birth factors (birth weight, gestational Age, infant sex, mode of delivery, maternal age, maternal BMI and maternal smoking in late pregnancy). Model 2 adds risk factors at age 20 (BMI (For hypertension modelling only), cholesterol, insulin and smoking status), model 3 adds socioeconomic status at 20 years of age, average weekly alcohol consumption and contraceptive pill use.
