Non proestrus (blank bars) PAE-Non CMS females had significantly higher activated CORT than their non proestrus PAE-CMS counterparts (P = 0.018), and these non proestrus PAE-CMS females, in turn had lower CORT levels relative to their Con-CMS counterparts (P = 0.045) as well.
