IsoLG-PE is increased in the plasma of patients with FH. Plasma samples were obtained from healthy donors (n=5) and from FH patients (n=5). Collected plasma samples were treated with PLA₂ to generate lysoPE product, and the IsoLG-lysoPE-hydroxylactam species were quantified by LC/MS/MS as described in the Materials and Methods section.
