IsoLG-PE is increased in the liver of mice fed a high-fat diet. Mice were fed a high-fat diet (60% fat from calories, n=5) or chow diet (n=5) for 9 weeks, and the livers were collected. Collected livers were treated with PLA2 to generate lysoPE product, and IsoLG-lysoPE-hydroxylactam species were quantified by LC/MS/MS as described in the Materials and Methods section. Mean±SEM for each group are shown, *p=0.028 two-tailed Student's t-test.
