Tumor growth kinetics in IL-10–deficient mice. Plasmacytoma J558 cells were injected into each mouse subcutaneously at a dose of 5 × 106/mouse. Tumor growth was monitored by measuring tumor size in 2 cross directions. Tumor volume was calculated using the formula: volume = (L × W2)/2, where L = length and W = width.
