Point mutations of AKT1 in JGCTs.

Alignment of several AKT1 orthologous protein sequences from human (Homo sapiens, Hsa), mouse (Mus musculus, Mmu), puffer-fish (Takifugu rubripes, Tru) and the frog Xenopus tropicalis (Xtr) as well as the AKT2 paralogs in the same species. Note the high degree of evolutionary conservation of the mutated residues highlighted in red in the human sequence. The corresponding substitutions are displayed at the bottom of the alignment.
