MIF was involved in breast cancer cells invasion and tamoxifen sensitivity. (a) After wounding cells were cultured for another 24 h or 48 h, siMIF increased the area of unhealed cell wound size; (b) LCC2 cells were seeded into a Matrigel-coated membrane and cultured for 24 h; siMIF reduced the number of invading cells compared to the siNC; (c) MTT assay indicated that siMIF significantly increased the cell survival inhibition rate in LCC2 cells compared to siNC. The IC₅₀ value of 4-OHT was examined after the cells were treated with different concentrations of 4-OHT. The results showed that siMIF significantly reduced the IC₅₀ of 4-OHT compared to siNC. ^∗ P < 0.05 versus siNC.
