Assessment of the hyphal branching pattern of the tSEC6 strain. The number of lateral branches was quantified after 15 h of incubation in YPD (with or without DOX) and subsequent induction of filamentation in YPD with 20% (vol/vol) FCS for 8 h at 37°C with or without DOX. Experiments were performed in triplicate with 100 cells counted per treatment per experiment. (A) Light microscopy of the tSEC6 strain grown with or without DOX showed differences in branching patterns.
