Quantitative polymerase chain reaction analyses of the expression of the dental pulp cell (DPC)-characteristic genes in dental pulp stem cells (DPSCs) and adipose tissue-derived mesenchymal stem cells (A-MSCs) maintained under various culture conditions. The DPSCs-(cultures 4 and 5) and A-MSCs-(4 and 5) cells were isolated and expanded with α-modified Eagle's medium (α-MEM) with 10% fetal bovine serum (FBS). These cells were incubated with α-MEM in the presence of 10% FBS or 7.5% platelet-rich plasma (PRP) until cultures became confluent.
