Panel B shows average segmental [¹⁸F]FDG accumulation normalized to blood radioactivity in the segments without atherosclerosis, intimal thickening or atheroma plaques. Panel C shows segmental in vivo [¹⁸F]FDG signal as the highest target-to-background ratio (TBR) in the segments without atherosclerosis, intimal thickening or atheroma plaques.
