Orthogonal CT (a) and fused [18F]-FDG-PET/CT (b) views of a subcutaneous LAPC4-CR tumor in a murine xenograft model. The anatomic tumor volume was estimated by drawing a 3D ellipsoid around the visible tumor boundary on the CT images. The metabolic tumor volume was estimated by determining the volume of the anatomic tumor that had [18F]-FDG uptake of at least 70% of the maximum uptake within the tumor (70% threshold).
