Areas of reduced (2A, blue) and increased (2B, red) BC in patients on carbamazepine and oxcarbazepine (CBZ/OXC) compared with patients not on CBZ/OXC. Notable regions with BC reduction are seen in bilateral hippocampi, thalami, left insula, putamen, medial frontal and visual/sensori-motor cortex. BC increase is seen in right insula, caudate, fronto-parietal cortex, cingulum, and precuneus/retrosplenium. Orientation is radiological.
