MZ B cells can efficiently present autoantigen in vivo. CpG-stimulated MZ or FO B cells from BCII-immunized WT mice were adoptively transferred to WT or qCII24 mice. Sera from the recipient mice were analyzed for IgG anti-MCII antibodies by ELISA and a fold change from the background antibody level in serum from a qCII24 mouse receiving PBS only was determined.
