Figure 3

a–c. A 61-year-old postmenopausal female patient who presented with metrorrhagia and was diagnosed with a right ovarian thecoma and endometrial polyps. Axial T1-weighted image (a) shows a large homogeneous right ovarian mass isointense to the myometrium. Axial T2-weighted image of the tumor (b) reveals areas of isointense and hyperintense signal relative to the myometrium, whereas axial gadolinium-enhanced fat-suppressed T1-weighted image (c) shows weak contrast-enhancement of the tumor (*). Endometrial polyps display hypointensity on T2-weighted image (b), isointensity to the endometrium on T1-weighted image (a), and homogeneous gadolinium uptake (arrowheads).
