Signaling pathway activation in MSCs primed with S1P or LL37. Priming can activate two signaling pathways in hCB-MSCs (A) and hAD-MSCs (B) that are implicated in hematopoietic stem/progenitor cell migration, MAPKp42/44 and AKT. MSCs were starved overnight in Dulbecco's modified Eagle's medium containing 0.5% bovine serum albumin and were treated with S1P (0.1 or 0.2 μM) or LL-37 (1.25 or 2.5 μg/mL) for 5 or 10 min.
