Compound 1 alleviates pulmonary fibrosis in mice. (A) Mice received oropharyngeal bleomycin (Bleo) on day 0 to induce pulmonary fibrosis. Control mice received saline. Mice were then injected with compound 1 (C1) or vehicle control at the indicated dose daily starting on day 1 and ending on day 20. On day 21, mice were euthanized and after collecting BAL fluid, lungs were stained with PicroSirius red to estimate collagen deposition. Images are representative of three different experiments.
