Lane L, DNA ladder; Lane O, original salmon sperm DNA; Lane C, a control of salmon sperm DNA treated by NaH2PO4 buffer (pH 3.8). Lanes P1-P6 contain salmon sperm DNA treated with six individuals’ gastric juice after pH adjustment. Digestion was carried out at 37 °C for 3 h and analysed on a 0.8% agarose gel.
